Covering nearly all of your home audio needs, the R9 All-in-One Desktop Hi-Fi Streaming Player & Amplifier from FiiO can act as a DLNA, AirPlay, Bluetooth, or internet music streaming player, high-end audio decoder, headphone amplifier, NAS/LAN/USB digital jukebox, and preamp. A 6" FHD portrait-style color display and open Android OS lets you manage all of the various functions and streaming apps, plus you can install new third-party apps as needed. The 5-stage audio architecture, 8-channel DACs, 8-channel THX amp, and more, are carefully isolated and integrated within the dual-color metal body, helping to deliver audiophile-level performance and clarity to anything you play.

8-Channel DACs
The left and right audio signal each get an ES9038PRO DAC with 8 independent D/A converters, connected in parallel for fully differential output that results in -122 db THD+N, and 132 dB DNR values.

8-Channel THX AAA 788+ Headphone Amp
At a 102% higher output than last generation's R7, the R9 amp can output 7300 mW at 32 ohms and is connected in parallel via 2x2 groups for a 4-way fully balanced design. Comb-shaped heatsinks and an optimized circuit layout help with heat dissipation for continuous, stable, high-power output.

Hi-Fi 5-Stage Audio Architecture
IV, LPF, gain, pre-amplification, and current expansion comprise the 5-stage Hi-Fi architecture of the R9. They use SiGe-constructed OPA2211 op-amps to ensure optimal performance as you dial in your preferred listening volume. Thanks to five levels of precise gain, you can have a high-quality listening experience, even if using IEMs or hard-to-drive headphones.

Carefully Designed PCB
The four major portions of the R9 include the digital components, power supply, DAC, and headphone amp. All of them have been carefully implemented within the R9 on their own PCBs, and separated to avoid crosstalk. Additional crosstalk mitigation comes in the form of the DAC and THX headphone amp being shielded from one another via metal. The overall result of this precision engineering is an accurate and clean audio signal.

Multiple Connections
A wide variety of inputs and outputs on the front and rear of the R9 allow you to use it as the centerpiece of an expanding, modular Hi-Fi system of your own design. It can support a host of audio connections, and a USB-C and USB-A port can add functionality for optional hard drives and devices. The full list of connections are below:

Roon Ready Mode: Gain an ergonomic player in seconds via the R9's Roon Ready certification.
Coaxial/Optical Decoding Mode: Decode audio from connected components.
HDMI Input: Improve the audio of connected devices, such as gaming consoles and Blu-ray players
HDMI ARC: Improve the audio of your TV or projector's connected devices and integrated apps

Output Modes

With four output modes, you can use the built-in knob to easily switch between connected headphones or speakers.
PO + PRE OUT (Default): Front headphone output and rear line-out output (volume adjustable)
PO: Only the front headphone output
PRE OUT: Only the rear line-out output (volume adjustable)
LO: Only the rear line-out (fixed level output)

AC & DC Power
Built into the R9 is a 40W low-noise, industrial-grade power supply that supports ultra-wide input voltages (85 to 305 VAC) or an external DC power supply. Each stage of the audio circuit employs precision LDOs for voltage stabilization and clean power.

Hi-Fi Internal Components
Whether you play audio from the R9 or use it to improve the audio quality of a connected device, its ability to produce such high fidelity sound is thanks to a host of premium internal components.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Easy 30 Day Return Policy

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to Kellards within 30 days of the purchase date, subject to the conditions and exclusions below.

You may initiate a return or exchange by requesting an RMA at sales@kellards.com.

Securely affix your return label to the outside of the shipping package. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend you ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. We cannot be responsible for lost packages.

Eligibility Conditions

Please read conditions below. If all conditions are not met, Kellards reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee. All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box (including an intact UPC code) and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and accessories. Kellards can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.

Refunds & Credits

Once we receive and inspect your item(s), we will credit your account. Please allow 5-7 days for a credit to appear on your account. In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase.
