With the unique Mix Edit feature, users can craft custom headphone mixes across Revolution 14x16's three crystal-clear headphone amps. The interface includes four switchable send/return loops for integrating external hardware processors, and its proprietary Macro-MMC clock ensures world-class synchronization and low-noise conversion for your digital hardware. Expansion is made easy with ADAT I/O, allowing for the addition of up to eight extra channels. Modded Out of the Box
- Proprietary PG-i filtering technology and highly filtered power rails work with full-circuit power decoupling to further reduce noise contamination.
- For the best possible capture and playback, Revolution 14x16 sports over two dozen high-end, hard-to-get Vishay, Wima, and Nichicon capacitors, and thin film resistors. (A component-sourcing nightmare but an audiophile's dream)
- All internal gain-staging is optimized for the lowest noise floor.
- All analog I/O is fully decoupled and balanced—right to the very core of the converter—for even further noise reduction.
- Power is decoupled across the entire circuit: the preamplifiers, the converters, the internal power, and even the clock.
Two Auteur Preamps Built-In
- Channels 1 and 2 of the Revolution 14x16 feature Black Lion Audio’s Auteur preamps, which until now have only been available in the company's standalone preamp hardware.
- Auteur preamps are transformer-coupled like classic consoles, with Cinemag transformers responsible for the added harmonic weight and saturation when pushed.
- At lower gain levels, you get the fast attack of American-style preamps, a fantastic complement for drums and rhythm guitar.
- Crank up the gain a bit, and you’ll get the warmth and color of classic British preamps, which can be particularly flattering on vocals and bass.
- You can access the Auteur preamps by connecting to either the front or rear Channel 1/2 inputs.
Premium Clocking
- The proprietary Macro-MMC (Master Music Clock) in Revolution 14x16 is based on the company's history of creating dedicated wordclocks, and modifying many embedded clocks found in other recording interfaces.
- Macro-MMC ensures the best possible performance from the converters while also allowing you to connect external gear via the BNC connections, for premium sync and ultralow jitter.
- This means that any devices synced via Macro-MMC are communicating as accurately as possible to minimize phase distortions that can muddy the high-end and negatively affect transients.
- If you’ve already invested in a clock you like, the Revolution 14x16 accepts clock in.
Powerful Connectivity and Expandability
- Easy to integrate into your existing setup, the Revolution 14x16 offers four mic/instrument (DI) preamps, with channels 1 and 2 accessible from either the front or back of the unit.
- You get 4 switchable insert/returns for connection to external hardware processors. You can A/B your signal at the touch of a button. The Return connections double as Line inputs for keyboards, synths, and other line-level devices.
- You can even use the Revolution 14x16 as a standalone mic preamp with no computer connection, thanks to the Insert/Return connections.
- A secondary set of user-definable Analog Outs let you route two analog signals wherever you like.
- S/PDIF connections round out the package for connection to digital devices, and the Revolution 14x16 is readily expandable with an additional 8-in / 8-out over ADAT.
Versatile Monitoring and Metering
- The interface's three crystal-clear, plenty loud headphone amps let you and your collaborators produce music without worrying about feedback from your mains. Use the intuitive Mix Edit feature to quickly create a dedicated low-latency headphone mix from both hardware inputs and software playback.
- The bright, eight-stage metering can be set to monitor Channel input levels, output levels, or even the input levels of the rear-mounted Channel Inserts. The main Monitor and Headphone Outputs are mono-summable.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Easy 30 Day Return Policy
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to Kellards within 30 days of the purchase date, subject to the conditions and exclusions below.
You may initiate a return or exchange by requesting an RMA at sales@kellards.com.
Securely affix your return label to the outside of the shipping package. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend you ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. We cannot be responsible for lost packages.

Eligibility Conditions
Please read conditions below. If all conditions are not met, Kellards reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee. All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box (including an intact UPC code) and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and accessories. Kellards can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.

Defective or Damaged Items

Once we receive and inspect your item(s), we will credit your account. Please allow 5-7 days for a credit to appear on your account. In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase.
