The V-1-4K Video Switcher from Roland is an entry-level video switcher designed for small productions such as house of worship, education, or corporate presentations. The switcher features five HDMI inputs with scalers, five HDMI outputs, a USB-A host connection, and a USB-C streaming output. It supports video resolutions up to UHD 4K60 with HDR support, allowing you to crop and downscale portions of the image without losing quality. A fader, along with multiple dials and knobs, allows complete tactile control of your production.

Scaling and Cropping
The V-1-4K features five HDMI inputs with scalers on every channel, enabling seamless switching between HD and 4K60 HDR video sources. Five HDMI output channels include multiviewer functionality for independent video signals to be fed to a main monitor, a confidence monitor, and other destinations without a distribution amplifier.

The ROI (region-of-interest) feature enables you to create multiple shots by cropping specific areas from a single 4K camera source to help reduce setup time and create more shot options for your video production. The V-1-4K Remote/RCS app helps your cropping area setup with intuitive operation.

Flexible Routing
There are five video inputs and six total outputs (HDMI plus USB streaming) that offer flexibility for a wide range of production needs. In addition to program, preview, and multiview outputs, output channels 3 and 4 can be assigned to any output bus and any input signal via 4K-to-HD downscalers.

Plug-and-Play Streaming
The V-1-4K uses the same connection technology as webcams for plug-and-play video streaming. Connect the USB-C output to a computer and start streaming with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or any streaming platform that supports a standard webcam connection.

Video Composition Tools
The V-1-4K makes it simple to keep audiences engaged with layered graphics and visual effects. Three composition layers allow you to use scalable picture-in-picture images and add titles, logos, social media comments, and more.

PTZ Camera Integration
The V-1-4K includes built-in control support for select Canon, JVC, Panasonic, Sony, PTZOptics, Avonic, and VISCA-compatible PTZ IP-based cameras. Mix and match different brands and operate up to five PTZ cameras simultaneously. The V-1-4K Remote app for iPad provides PTZ operation, allowing you to control remote cameras from the tablet.

Free Companion Software
Graphics Presenter is a Windows-based software that allows you to create stunning titles and motion graphics with compatible Roland video switchers. VenuSet for iPadOS/macOS/Windows allows a customizable solution that makes it easier to operate the V-1-4K.

V-1-4K RCS for macOS and Windows and V-1-4K Remote for iPadOS provide full software control of the V-1-4K switcher via LAN or USB host connections.

Audio Mixing and I/O
The V-1-4K features 14 channels of audio mixing and a wide selection of processing tools, including equalizers and compressors. There are also sync delays on all input and output busses to align audio with video if needed. I/O routing options include main, monitor, and two aux buses for complex audio configurations.

The switcher supports analog audio input via dual XLR inputs, and it can output/extract audio via the two RCA outputs and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Customizable Control Pads
Eight user-assignable pads provide instant control of many functions during live events. The pads are organized into four banks, providing direct access to 32 operations, including video input routing, audio muting, system configuration access, and more. You can also control functions in the Graphics Presenter software when the host computer is connected via USB.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Easy 30 Day Return Policy

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to Kellards within 30 days of the purchase date, subject to the conditions and exclusions below.

You may initiate a return or exchange by requesting an RMA at sales@kellards.com.

Securely affix your return label to the outside of the shipping package. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend you ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. We cannot be responsible for lost packages.

Eligibility Conditions

Please read conditions below. If all conditions are not met, Kellards reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee. All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box (including an intact UPC code) and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and accessories. Kellards can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.

Defective or Damaged Items

Defective items may be repaired, exchanged or refunded at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model.

Exchanges

Please allow 3-5 business days for mail-in exchanges to be processed.

Refunds & Credits

Once we receive and inspect your item(s), we will credit your account. Please allow 5-7 days for a credit to appear on your account. In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
