Share:

Beautifully crafted by the artisans behind Universal Audio's Apollo series, the Volt 876 is a rackmounted 24x28 USB-C audio interface with eight Vintage preamps and analog 1176-style compressors for iconic tone. With 32-bit / 192 kHz AD/DA conversion and special support for the LUNA DAW with its AI-powered smart tools, the Volt 876 makes it easier than ever to get pro results.

The Volt 876 sports eight XLR-1/4" combo mic/line inputs, with six on the rear panel, and two on the front panel. The front-panel jacks offer switchable line / Hi-Z input modes. Further per-channel front-panel controls include 48V phantom power, phase reversal, Vintage mode, and 76-style compressor with three presets. Monitoring controls include low-latency direct monitoring mode, DIM/Talk, Alt, and mute.

The 876 is loaded with I/O for every occasion, including three stereo pair 1/4" line outputs (channels 3 to 8), one stereo pair of monitor outputs, 16 channels of ADAT (or 2-channel S/PDIF) via TOSLINK optical ports, BNC wordclock I/O, 5-pin DIN MIDI I/O, and two front-panel headphone outputs with individually adjustable volume. You can link up to three Volt 876 interfaces via ADAT for up to a 24-channel recording system. And with the included suite of premium UAD plug-ins and instruments, as well as 3rd party software, you can get to making incredible music right out of the box.

Record Your Music in Flexible 32-Bit Audio

From the team that brought you the game-changing Apollo interface, Volt 876 delivers next-gen 32-bit / 192 kHz sound quality with eight preamps and compressors—perfect for recording larger groups—with more character and tone than any USB interface in its class.

Capture Legendary Sounds with Eight Vintage Mic Preamps

There's a reason UA's 610 tube mic preamp has been heard on records from Ray Charles to Van Halen to Adele—its warmth and presence are unmatched. Volt 876 gives you the same iconic preamp sound using selectable Vintage mode, UA's exclusive tube emulation circuitry that gives your sessions the sound of a studio classic.

1176-Style Compression Tuned for Voice, Guitar, and More

Add album-ready punch and presence with Volt 876's eight onboard 76 compressors—an innovative analog circuit inspired by UA's famous 1176 Limiting Amplifier. The 76 Compressor features presets to tame voice, guitars, synths, and drums (fast mode). So you can just plug in, pick a setting, and sound great.

All the Connectivity You'll Ever Need with 24x28 I/O

Volt 876 gives you 8x8 analog connections for mics, instruments, and studio gear, plus two front-panel mic/line inputs with switchable Hi-Z for easy DI recording. Need more? ADAT I/O connections let you link up to three Volt 876s to create a 24-channel recording system, or expand Apollo and other ADAT-equipped studios.

Includes UAD Producer Suite Plug-Ins

Volt 876 includes UAD Producer Suite, a premium collection of UAD plug-in titles—from Teletronix LA-2A and UA 1176 compressors to Pultec EQs, PolyMAX Synth, and the Showtime '64 Guitar Amp—giving you the tones of classic studio gear and inspiring instruments right out of the box.
